Darby Karchut's YA fantasy novel, Griffin's Fire, recently won the 2012 Readers Favorite Book Reviews and Award Contest Bronze Medal in the Young Adult/Coming of Age category. The first book in the series, Griffin Rising, was the 2011 Sharp Writ Young Adult Book of the Year.
