Darby Karchut’s middle grade novel, Finn
Finnegan (2013 from Spencer Hill Middle Grade/Spence Hill Press) recently
won the 2014 IPPY Silver Medal for Juvenile Fiction. Finn Finnegan, the
first in a seven-book urban fantasy series, is based on the ancient Celtic
legend of Finn MacCool (Fionn mac Cumhail) and is set in modern-day Colorado
Springs. The other books in the series include Gideon’s Spear and The
Hound at the Gate (coming January 2015).
