A year ago today, a blog was born. Not just any blog – the Official Blog of the Pikes Peak Writers!
Prior to Writing from the Peak, PPW members received paper newsletters filled with writing tips, author interviews, Sweet Success stories, and more. This was all transitioned to an online blog format on November 1, 2010 by then-Managing Editor Fleur Bradley.
Since then, we have made 173 posts covering everything from workshop reminders to screenwriting tips to news from the publishing world - all of it free to you, our members.
As you’re gearing up to hunker down for NaNoWriMo and NaNoTRYMo, take a moment to indulge in a slice of virtual birthday cake and celebrate our blog’s very first birthday! And don’t forget to check the Upcoming Events section to the right for PPW NaNoTRYMo events.
