PPW Event – March 10, 2012

PIKES PEAK WRITERS to host panel discussion about writing featuring top Colorado authors!

Saturday, March 10th from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m.

East Library of the Pikes Peak Library District
5550 N. Union Blvd, Colorado Springs

***FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC***

Have you ever wondered where authors get their ideas?  Or how they develop such engaging characters or intriguing plots?  How does one go about writing a novel or a nonfiction book?  How do writers get published?  What do "traditionally published" authors think about e-publishing?  What do they predict the future will bring to brick-and-mortar bookstores and the printed book?  Join us for a free panel discussion to hear best-selling, multi-published authors, new authors, and e-book authors talk about these topics and more.  Questions from the audience are encouraged, so come ask your questions about writing and publishing!

Author panel includes Kevin J. Anderson, Barbara Samuel/O'Neal, Robert Spiller, Erin Blakemore, Rebecca Moesta, Ron Cree, Amy Efaw and Laura DiSilverio.

These authors will sign books immediately following the panel discussion.

Some books will be available for purchase on-site, with a portion of the proceeds going to the PPLD.  Attendees are also welcome to bring  in their personal copies to have autographed by the authors.

This event is FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC, so bring a friend!  RSVPs are not required, but questions can be addressed to rsvp@pikespeakwriters.com.  Concerned about closures or delays due to weather?  Check pikespeakwriters.com or contact the Pikes Peak Library District to see if the event will proceed on schedule.

Pikes Peak Writers is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and host of the PIKES PEAK WRITERS CONFERENCE, now in its 20th year.
